I'd join an 07 exclusive hatch group. We should include the 06s too since they got boned in the suspension department as well.

While we are at it, we should make a 2.3l hatch club, as that was creme of the crop. [;)]

I like my 07 zx3 se. I'd be interested in joining. Sedans are great and all, but if I wanted a small sedan - I could have gone anywhere. With the death of the focus hatch after 07, my choices for a sub $20k 3 door hatchback is the VW Rabbit (the dealers mark them up), the Hyundai Accent (not gonna happen), or the Toyota Yaris (the Hyundai Accent is more appealing).

I for one, am saddened by the discontinuation of the hatchback focus. It was the only reason I bought a focus in the first place. SUV versatility, 30 mpg, and that sports car feel (with a five speed). There's little else that provides that at the price point and feature content level the focus hatches did.

Despite the problems I had with my 02, I bought an 07 to replace it because I was comfortable with it, and the form factor is close to perfect. If Ford made a hatchback that was essentially the same form factor of the focus but 125% of the size - I'd probably buy it.

For me, the hatchback focus is a no compromise car - it's almost as versatile as the wagon while looking sportier and somewhat sleeker. (I have nothing against wagons - having owned quite a few over the years - but the focus wagon just wasn't for me).

If I wanted a good small sedan - I could do better elsewhere. Because of my love of hatches - my choices are limited and the focus was the best of the bunch.

id be down for the LOTH dunno about including 06 cuz then 05s would feel left out.... but i dun care either way as long as i get a low number lol

well if i could make a correction, for released that in 2010 they will bring some euro focus's over, and they happen to be hatch backs, at least the pics i saw.
but we all know how ford follows through with good ideas, lol

I was never interested in this crew because it is obvious that sometime the hatch will be back to the U.S. These are only the "last" here in the U.S. not everywhere.... In fact, the crew should be called last of the hatches in the U.S. since I see the new ones all the time down here in Mexico.

So.... what ever happened to this?

can you buy a car in mexico and bring it up to the states (legally)?

I tried to get in this 3 Times I gave up.
