well, im not sure how it goes where you live.
but the day you go to the DMV and pay the registration fee and shit like that (a lot of paperwork) you get your hard copy tags.

i guess the car can be traded in with paper tags but why would you wanna do that? im guessing you owe money on it since its a 2007.

The fee's etc was paid when i bought the car,the plates are suppost to go to the dealer for me to pick. Was all included in the new car deal.
Yes i owe money, only made one payment actually, but i made a quik 15 grand, got a new job with a company truck,so i can get back into vettes, trade this car,put some money down, and have almost nothing for vette payments for my weekend race car....i'll take a loss, thats okay though.I think i'll call a dealer in the morning to see if they take paper plates on a trade in.

thats what i was thinking......They must be way behind in the prisons,it's taking along time to get the plates.lol
I was trying to look up my car on KBB.com,but they did'nt have the 07's listed yet, trade in value for an 06 with 1200 miles and excellent condition was $11,250.

Were they vanity plates or standard plates?

Standard plates would be "the day" you take your title in. Vanitys can take months. Hell it took 7 months to get my vanity ones.
