just thought i would make this post to say that my conversion from the JRSC BBK to the Roush turbo is finished. and as far as the difference between the supercharger and the turbo there is no contest. i never would have immagined there would be that much difference. tom said it would be night and day but wow, it makes the supercharger look stupid. so here are a couple pics and a video. and thanks for everything tom, i look forward to coming back hopfully withing the next year with a built motor.
kit info.... Roush turbo kit, converted to blowthrough with a type rs blow off valve, 11.5psi, 3" downpipe and exhaust.

Wow, that's a nice FAT torque curve. I can't wait to see the turbo options for the SVT get sorted out so I can get some boost of my own.

that is a very nice set up thanks for sharing the pics.

i tried to put it on you tube so more people could view it but you tube kept freezing up so i put it on myspace. i will try again later to get it on youtube. try this myspace, any one should be able to veiw it. it is the video of the silver focus on the right of the page. i wish it was one of the other rally ones, lol.

From what I have read and dyno sheets I have seen, just about any other F/I kit is better than the Jackson Racing SC.
Tom, how is this setup different/better than a PowerWorks SC?

More TQ , Easier to up the boost ,No remote oil filter , More Potential with a Turbo

Powerworks may be better for a newb to control during autocrossing but other than that the supercharger will not feel fast like a turbo...not that rush of massive amounts of torque.

yeah the rush of massive amounts of torque is to die for... and yep i will be building my engine so i need something capable of making tones of power. even if i have to get another turbo to make what i want it still has a lot more potential than a supercharger and is a lot more fun to drive.
and thanks for the compliments on the car, im very proud of it now:)
