Tom's kit is the best the most expensive but your car won't explode you don't even wanna mention gude around here we've heard of many a sad story of destroyed engines cause of them if you want more information on Tom's kit go to www.focus-power.com

Word has it, Tom makes the best. Cant wait till I have mine. Like Seb said, many sad storys about Gude, and I havent heard anything about Precision, so I'm curious as to if it sucks or what not. There's also the f-max kit and the Pectal kit, which I have heard nothing on.

does any one have quarter times on toms kit? not the outrageously high amount of boosted times either. i am thinking from around 9-12 psi something you could see on the street possibly.

With the whole fuel management issue, why don't you just buy a 70mm MAF, bigger injectors, a chip, and get it properly tuned at a dyno shop? That'd take care of the whole kit problem; years ago people used to machine their own cams, and hope for the best. Now, if a kit doesn't come with everything and then some, its a piece of crap. An uncontrolled turbo, blower, anything will grenade an engine, no matter who makes it. If you buy a kit without everything, then buy the rest too! Building a reliable turbo motor out of an NA motor isn't easy, regardless. Get the best you can, get it properly tuned, and it'll live forever [:D]

"Tom HAS blown an engine or two" ,, Id like to know what engine i have blown?

"Tom doesn't sell a complete "mini" turbo kit",, Yes we know have a STG1 kit it was posted on here some where about it

Flashing the ECU is not the way to go unless it is with the predator so you have some controle , Sending your ECU to some one for a flash will be a wast of time , why not just do the SCT or a chip

No problem , The STG1 kit comes with everything needed for the turbo kit ,But with out tuning in the 2695.00 cost , I DO offer the full MIC for 850.00 but with all the new tuning coming out i didnt want to add any tuning to the 2695.00 cost in case people want to get the SCT or the CMR

tom i have a couple questions:

1. is your stage 1 kit applicable to an almost stock engine?

2.I'm looking for a boost in hp but not 350, how much will your stage one give to an almost stock engine (i have 65mm tb, shorty header, shorty intake)...is your quote of "I'm guessing about 200 to 210HP and 200 to 220TQ." meaning on a stock engine?

3. I'm kinda new to some terms here, what is a "MIC"?

4. what else would i need for my engine to be able to handle your stage 1 kit? (i know i'd need bigger injectors, but what size?

5. do you have an intercooler that i can later add if i so desire

if you could answer these questions, that would be great. I've been looking at your turbo kit for a long time and i am now ready to make a decision. Thank you so much!

Yes the STG1 kit is for a stock engine and i am looking for 180 to 200 HP on an all stock engine

Yes there is an intercooler kit that i will offer ,

SCT= Superchips Custom Tuning (795.00)

CMR= Chip Master Revolution (Diablo not ready yet in self tune but is ready in a chip)

Both offer tuning for the Focus
