Just out of curiosity has anyone had good luck with iridum plugs? I just put in a set and my idle is much cleaner, but that is probably due to the fact that my old plugs were TOAST. I picked up a few hp on my Probe but that is boosted with an otherwise stock ignition so I don't really have anything to base my SVT on.

Wouldn't hurt. Before I switched to the copper motorcraft one's, I used NGK Platinum, they worked good.

I have the Denso Iridiums in my car. They feel fine and they supposedly last longer than anything else out there, but coppers are just so much cheaper, offer better conductivity, and our plugs are so easy to change that it's just not worth it to go with anything else.

i had them for like 40,000 miles until last weekend when i switche dto copper plugs-- they are nice but no nicer that the 8.00 coppers -- not worth the money is right

I think old school coppers are still one o f the best choices, they dont last as long as platinum, but they work better. there easy to change anywyas, just use copper.
