Some know about this car , Scott in OKC built it and had it for sale , the new owner in Tx bought it and added a little to much Nitrous and killed the engine so i made the trip to pick it up

It is on the trailor and on its way home to be part of the Focus-Power stable

HAHAHA when i saw the title of this thread "zx351", I thot i was going to open this up and see a focus limo with 351 doors (since usually the numbers following the zx are the number of doors it has). Now THAT would have been crazy!
Anyhow, grats on the v8! I wanna see future pics and vids when all is done!

Thats going to be a cool project car. Find another v8 car and I'll buy it. Your plans are gonna make that a fun ride. If you have it done when you come up to tune the PC Harley bring it with you.

v8 focus is only 400lbs lighter than a mustang

I may just put a 351 stroker (408-427) in it and drive it for a bit then sell it , I just wanted to see what one would be like with a V8 and it was cheaper to play with this one then to build one like i was thinking about doing , I dont think it will see a turbo with me anyway

Awesome I show all of my friends the video of this car. I want to do this to my car when ever it gets tired and I mean tired like 250,000mi tired and hopefully by then I'll have money to do it. I can't believe that guy put n2o to it. what a waste. Like it was'nt fast enough huh. A RWD zetec would be cool it would still retain great handling with the lighter 4cly. up front but I say tom what ever you do with it. It will be fun regaurdless.

i just got a new job and it pays pretty well from what im used to, so i was thinking of putting a v8 in my focus because i will most likely buy a new car and have this one as a project car. just wondering which parts make it fit?

Silva, buy the SVT from Tom. It has everything you need already. Engine Cradel, exhaust, rear suspention and axels. I think all you need is the motor.

There was a GTG at Toms on the 31st. Someone took some pics of it on a trailer. You would have to e-mail Tom for a price.

As far as i know, i thought Tom bought the blue zx351 with the v-8 components installed without motor with the intention on dropping a new engine in as a project car until hes bored. On the other hand, Tom's black 300+whp turbo SVT is for sale.

Both cars are in the pics from the g2g. The zx351 is on the trailer. The black one with the wrc wing and says focus-power.com is the SVT for sale.

Last time I talked to Tom he was going to put a 408 stroker in it.

oh the drive isnt that bad, lol, some beautiful seenary thats for sure. i drove a total of 17 hours one way for toms tune 12 of it was to his place and the rest was a trip to the beach since i was that close i wasnt stoping there, lol. but the drive is beautiful! i love the smokey mountians. and that is also proof of the reliability of Toms tune i drove my car all the way back. also got to see the ocean for the first time and that is amazing! you dont live to far from me go for it!

There already is one of those. It was in one of the first focus fantics magazine. The guy had a twin turbo V-8 sedan. I believe it was like 792 whp.

I'm sure Tom will be that. Maybe 1000hp.
