So i have a CAI on my car. I was wondering if just the factory splash guard was enough to keep the car from hydro locking? Could a automated car wash even cause a hydro lock?

I doubt the car wash will cause hydrolock, and you can not eliminate hydrolock. It's a car, not a boat, just use your head...

Just avoid the under car spray option-better safe than sorry.

I never had a problem with my car and I drove through horrid rains and washed my car constantly.
