I have a choice between three vehicles all roughly the same price. give or take 1-2K. Please vote and more importantly WHY do you feel that way. And please give real reasons, not just " Its rocks dude" Im looking for practicality, performance, DURABILITY, and reliability.

Thanks for your effort!

the svt is gonan be the best bang for the buck, but it requires 91 octane only so if you dont like paying at the pump you might not like the svt and also the svt doesnt respond well to mods due to its near as good as it gets

the roush is just a body kit, looks good, not sure which motor it has but if its the duratec thatll do great with mods cai and exhuast net it near 20hp

the white zx5 is a good deal, low miles and its fully loaded

its a hard choice me, id take the roush cuz its more rare but i do love the svts! and that svt has low miles

That particular SVT is over-priced IMO. You can find others with that low of mileage for $2k less than that, especially since it is a non-EAP one.

I voted for the Roush, just because I know it has the 2.3L in it, so you will have a greater ability to modify it in the future, with even just bolt-ons.

Not knowing which motor the ZX5 has, it could be a good deal if it also has the 2.3L, but if it is a Zetec, it too is slightly over-priced, again, IMO.

Are you sure the 2004 Roush has a D23 in it? I know there are a few Eco friendly D23s out there, but I know the Roush is all cosmetic.

SVT for the win. I think it is an all around better car. And since Ford does not make them any more, they will be harder and harder to find in the Future.

Every '04 Roush I've seen has had the 2.3L PZEV, which, aside from the extra emissions crap, is the same motor as the 2.3L Duratec.

I say the svt but the price is a little high but the miles are low. The roush is ready for nos if you are into that thing. Find a zx5 svt then you can get 2 of the cars you want :)

You have the Roush confused with the Saleen. The Saleen comes ready for NOS not the Roush. I voted for the SVT. That is a good price for that little of miles. Low milage SVT are getting rarer ,therefore the prices are going up.

Well, who says polls are useless, I looked around and found a one owner SVT '04 with 21K miles on it for 1500.00 dollars LESS than what I was already set to buy. The other one had only 18K miles on it but was 1500 dollars more and from a dealer which would mean more taxes when I had it brought in to California.

I can't stand ALL show and no Go and the Roush is exactly that. The ZX5 is nice and all but I wanted the performance and I wanted the real deal.

So the SVT is the way I am going.

Thanks for all that helped especially Turbovaton who spent an hour o n the phone with me teaching me about SVT's.

PS. of course I will send pictures asap.

Its CD silver, blue and black interior and has a sunroof and the optional HID headlamps.

cold weather package, block heater and seat warmer with traction control.

Very nice indeed.

Great find you will be happy with it. Is it a 3 or 5 door.

SVT. It'll come standard with four disc brakes, 6 CD Changer, Awesome looking seats, Heritage name, 6 speed manual!, Parts that everyone wants (incase you buy a bodykit, selling your OEM stuff will be easy). Yes its not as potent an engine as the 2.3L in the roush, but for overall, you'll get way more for the money! I vote SVT.

The question is what purpose to you intend to use this car for? A safe bet is the SVT focus. But... if you want to modify your car, the other two are much better choices. The Roush has a nice suspension (if it has stage two Roush suspension then even better), more "Look at me" design without the "Boom Chee Boom Chee" culture. The ZX5... well... it's the focus we all know and love. So... your choices are really, 1. Fully developed performace machine, hardly room for any modification. 2. Underdeveloped performance machine, room for performace modification, comes with visual flare. 3. Everyday Focus, room for modification both in performance and aesthetically.

What did I vote for? Well... I didn't because you didn't state your purpose.
