: Is this stock SVTF ride height?
CompEuroZX5 02-02-2007, 12:05 AM I bought my SVTF with Eibach sport-lines and I've since swapped them out for a brand new set of SVT springs. Is it just me or does it look like it sits higher then a stock SVTF, especially in the front...

04OrangeSVT 02-02-2007, 12:26 AM looks about right. did you just take the picture after putting them in? they might settle a little bit over a few days, my tein did.
04OrangeSVT 02-02-2007, 12:26 AM by the way, i love the color!
CompEuroZX5 02-02-2007, 12:32 AM Those photos were taken about a month after swapping the springs.
Thanks! Your color isn't too bad either...
boca202 02-02-2007, 12:52 AM Well, they are not that kind of photos that would let you know that right how high it is the car...
Focistang85 02-02-2007, 01:20 AM Sure they are. Look at the wheel gap. It looks A-OK to me. [thumb]
svt_gEEk 02-02-2007, 01:21 AM Looks to have a tad more wheel gap than mine, maybe it's just the pics.
Focistang85 02-02-2007, 01:24 AM Maybe he washed his wheels in hot water and they shrunk?!?! [dunno]
SVTF_170 02-02-2007, 03:07 PM Why did you swap out the sportlines? I love mine. Sits so nice now.
WitchCitySVT 02-02-2007, 07:41 PM The back looks fine ,but the front looks high to me.
cayres 02-02-2007, 07:56 PM i agree that the fronts look a lil higher than mine too but not bad
unfknrl 02-02-2007, 11:41 PM only decent side pic i could find of my SVTF

Focistang85 02-02-2007, 11:53 PM No thread jacking, just do you think it's stock height or not?
jstuver 02-03-2007, 12:08 AM yeah i think it is- prob still needs to settle a lil- and get worn in
number1187svt 02-04-2007, 01:15 AM yeah thats right
MattZX3 02-04-2007, 01:19 AM looks like my stock zx3...lol
looks wayyy to high... kinda weird actually
ishagwell2 02-04-2007, 01:34 AM i dunno, im thinking thats about how tall mine was stock
jstuver 02-04-2007, 12:33 PM it looks just a tad high- but it will prob sink a lil
CompEuroZX5 02-04-2007, 12:47 PM Thanks for all of the input!
After comparing the photos below its seems mine sits pretty much the same as unfknrl's svt. If anything the front of mine is sitting a little higher than his. Hopefully it'll settle down soon...

avengerc4 02-04-2007, 03:29 PM yah that looks high...you said you took OUT the eibachs for stockers?!? why so?!?
focusjosh 02-04-2007, 03:58 PM unfknrl awesome first picture !!! cant wait to take some of mine this summer like that !
Focistang85 02-04-2007, 04:04 PM What'd you do with the eibachs?
CompEuroZX5 02-04-2007, 05:24 PM yah that looks high...you said you took OUT the eibachs for stockers?!? why so?!?
The Sportlines were just too harsh for everyday driving.
CompEuroZX5 02-04-2007, 05:24 PM What'd you do with the eibachs?
The whole setup has already been sold.
avengerc4 02-04-2007, 05:58 PM oh that sucks...I have the pros so it's only 1.25 in drop not 2.25 in. I like it a lot. well to each their own :D
Focistang85 02-04-2007, 11:36 PM darn. . . . .got my hopes up.
jstuver 02-05-2007, 08:46 AM nice try
Focistang85 02-05-2007, 11:05 AM Nah, it's okay, I've always got something else in mind. I already have some other sportlines lined up if I want'em. Cheap as hell too.
SVT_BMXer 02-05-2007, 12:11 PM That does look alittle high but I'm sure it will settle alittle more. Man I forgot what a clean car looks like. I went to spray some salf off my car today and it instantly froze. So now my hood is covered in ice rather than salt...stupid Ohio.

I'm lucky enough to have a car wash near by with a few enclosed power washer bays. I used the power washer to rinse then the car then used a bucket of warm water and soap that I bought from home to wash it off.

Damn man, that sucks.
CompEuroZX5 02-11-2007, 09:56 AM Maybe he washed his wheels in hot water and they shrunk?!?! [dunno]
Your actually onto something... I just noticed today my tires are only 215-40-17 when they should be 215-45-17. [:(!] The person who owned the car before me must have put them on because of the Eibach Sportlines that used to be on the car or he was just cheaping out and bought a less expensive size tire.
WitchCitySVT 02-11-2007, 11:52 AM I would say he bought them for clearance on the Eibachs. Generally the lower the profile the more expensive the tire. At least you know why you have wheel gap now.
