ok so i went for cheep plugs intill i go boosted so i went with champion plugs well lets say i will NEVER use them ever again. it turned out they melted because i guess they where the wrong temp spark plugs and melted and burn my valves so i now have no compresion. plus since there was no spark i desided to give it a crank to actually see if it sounded like i had compression and my plastic intake exploded in to peices and started on fire!!!

Nope cant happen , what melts the valves is the lack of fuel or to much timing , you might want to take a good look at the pistons as well , a quick way to do this is about a half a coffie cup of gas dumped on top of the pistons with all the pistons close to level, it should sit there for a good bit , if one cyl goes away quick you need to pull that piston it may be gaulded or burned

Spk Plugs DID NOT cause this

Did you try Mike B16sir??? on here he works at a Ford dealer and may be able to locate you some

How many did you burn ?

you could get these...

but you have to install new guides to with these ones, unless they fixed the stem size (I believe they were working on this) you will have to ask them

wow i cant belive u found them i have been searching so many sites including ebay and found nothin but i guess i over looked these thanks so much now i just need valve seats!!

also i found out that when i got a new plastic intake on because the old one cracked on me ford installed the one hose going to one of the intake pipes wrong and had the rubber folded making a small pin hole so i had un metered air in the intake so that could have been the problem.

also i took the head off all the valves looked good but they where leaking around the seats. pistons look fine but i guess i will check if the gas thing on the pistons to see if the rings are good. thanks guys!!! oh and i am going to try to get some pics taked its at my school so i dont know if i would be aloud to post them since it is wyotech and i will have to make sure no logo of wyotech is in the pic

Dont these need some type of machining to go in?

Kylebal, sounds like you just might have to have your valves lapped...

You have to buy new guides for these or they wont work DONT BUY THEM

Now wait , why did you even pull the head off the valves leaking a little isnt going to cause a big issue where you would notice , did you do a compression test ? if so what was it

A pin hole in the intake hose isnt going to cause engine damage or the tip of the plug to burn off

well if he gets the larger than stock ones , he will have to have seats cut.
ask them when you order them about new guides also .

the valves where not just leaking a little they are leaking a lot i did a leak test and three of the cylinders came up being 60% of the air leaked out. and if you listened to where the air was coming out of it was coming out of all 4 valves of each cylinder except for number 4 which it leaked out a little out of the intake valves. also i put my ear by the dipstick and just heard a little air just by blow by i guess. it was a very faint sound of air. i didnt realy get around doing the gas test tho

oh and also ithink i am just going to send my head to the local machine shop here and let them get the valves and seats and have him machine the head since i get a 15% discount on everything[headbang]

also i am going to get a price on p & p and if its not to expensive i might get that done.... but i here our heads are already bord or something like that.
would it hurt to get the head ported and polished??

I don't think it would be very good for the head.
