Just wondering if the 03 AEM cold air system will work on a 04 SVTF? If not an AEM is there any other company that hase a good intake for my 04? Also wanted to ask if there is a noticable difference between a CAR and a SRS? Im pretty new at all this and Im just looking to add a little something to my new baby. Any suggestions to get started with a limited budget?

as long as the AEM item is for an SVTF, then your ok cause all the model year svtf's are all the same inside! and if you don't like AEM you can go with either K&N, Focus Sport, IceMan, or if you want to go the cheap way, just throw a K&N filter on the intake tube instead of buying the whole kit!

just like slip stream svt said, they didnt change anything on them really so an 03 shoudl work on the 04.

Many thanx. But does this void the warranty on the engine???

it should not, but ford can be picky. and my advice, go steeda shortie. my probs with the aem cai on the race car have been chronicled too many times to do it again.

If you live in anywhere with flooding problems (I live in Houston for example) do not get a CAI cause if it rains and you got big puddles it might get ugly and if you hydrolock your car since its the CAIs fault no engine replacement (just a warning) Also alot of people dislike the AEM CAI Im not dispromoting it simply telling you problems people have had in the past
Also wanted to ask if there is a noticable difference between a CAR and a SRS?
CAR? SRS? (Safety Restraint System?)
Looks like a couple "noobs" with a Sonic Blue SVT.[:D]

Sad part is I do data entry 1/2 the day.... Meant to say Cold Air Int. or Short Ram.
Luckily I live in Arizona so I doubt I will see enough rain to cause a problem. [:)]
