So I thought its only 8 bucks, Why not? I got it in the mail today so I thought before I install I should check internet again. Then I found this.

http://kwc.org/mythbusters/2006/05/episode_53_exploding_trousers.html

This is taken from that website

"Fuel-injected car

* Baseline: 19mpg at 35mph and 27mpg at 55mph
* Magnets: 18mpg at 35mph and 26mpg at 55mph busted"

So if your thinking about buying one, save your 8 bucks for lunch.

Basically, he's saying Mytbusters tested this thing where you put magnets on your fuel rail, doesn't do squat.

Ahh gotcha....I would never in my life put trust in something so dumb in the first place...and besides, if it was on mythbusters...it must be true!! If anyone else is considering one of these cheap MPG gimics, just go ahead and paypal me your $8, I'll get more use out of it.

why would a magnet do anything for fuel? Guess I missed that bandwagon, kinda like the intake with a fan on it that added 30-50hp by slowing down the amount of air going into your engine lol.
