I have the Predator power supply specs (12V, 2.5x5.5 T+) and you've mentioned that most laptop power supplies will also work.

I have two laptop power suppies and yes the tip is correct, but the DC voltage is around 19 volts DC. I also realize a lot of DC powered electronics actually can take a range - like 9-24 VDC.

Will the Predator take voltages in this range, or does it have to be more like 12-14VDC (like a car battery)?

Dont tell anyone i said this but my laptop has a 19v as well and it works fine

Didn't try it yet. The laptop adapter says 19 VDC, but I measured the actual output at almost 24 VDC. Scared to try it.

Anyone put 24 volts on a Predator yet????
