I use to go to alot of meets there in Dallas...With tons of cars from Foci to VWs to Exotics - So, I cant say that I went to a "Rice Hater" Meet

Speaking of Represting the H-Town Foci...there was a Foci - Blue, dropped and with a muffler - That was running against some 01 Civic and was getting his rear end handed to him, so to help out, I down shifted and showed that Civic a thing or two about American power and Real Handling...just for fun. I dont usually race...but that civic needed a lesson

you know for having one of the largest cities in the U.S. we seem to have the lowest amount of focus peeps on here. Or maybe there all on focaljet?

But Speaking of meets, a Buddy of Mine and his crew of VDubs are coming into town in may. I think I might actually go to this big event. Some Car Show/Meet that happens every year. I believe that everyone is invited with nice Wheels. By the way...Does any of you chat on TexasFoci.com? I have been messaging on there for a couple of weeks now.

I'm in Tomball... I haven't been to a meet in about 2 1/2 years. focus only meet in about 3+ years. the fj crowd seems to have died down, there's a bunch of DFW guys on texasfoci.com.

Yes I know that everyone on the texasfoci is in Dallas, but they are the only ones who still post. As for meets, I read about the meets, I am contemplating on checking them out. I just like cars, but its nice when I run into a few foci out at one as well. ... I live in the middle of town on 59N and kirby...so goin to these meets are a bit of a drive.

Hey going to the track in a month or two. Anyone interested? Last time only one showed up. It will be at houston raceway park on a sunday night that way will be able to run our cars more has it is sometimes crowed on fri and sat. Anyone interested? Just keep a eye on the southern forum and I will post a date when I'm for sure. I fix a motor mount and a few other things before going. I would love to race against some more foci. Every one I have reaced I have beaten unless I messed up by missing a shift which happened last time at the track. But still I was the fastest. I'm sure one of ya'll must be able to run faster than a 15.7 right?

I would be game...but my car has lately been making some interesting noises...well...a rattle here and there. Dont know what it is...and these shops I go to, dont know either. Well...If I do check it out, whats the cost to race? I havent raced on a track in a few years, So, I dont think I could win any race out there...but it would be fun.

I think 12 bucks unlimited runs I ran my car like 25 times the first time I went. I have logged at least 50 run downt he track.

There are more foci around town, I am beginning to notice. For instance, every time I go to work I always see fixed up foci at my weekend job in Memorial city. And they sometimes park right next to my car. I think I will start taking pics of car around other foci and start a fun little Houston foci pic log.

Houston has just as many foci as you guys up in DFW...but I will say that you guys do get together a whole lot more than any one down here. I've been running into the Mazda and VW groups down here for meets just to go to.
