Hello,

I was hoping someone in here would now if it what engine would be the easiest to swap into my SE? Would it be possible to swap a ZETEC or SVT?

I would appreciate any info.

Neither would be easy. both would require a trans, ecu, blah, bla, bla. with that in mind the standerd zetec motor would be the cheapest. with the least modifications, so in turn the easiest would be the zetec.

I think the 2.3l PZEV might be a better option... whether it's easier or not, I dunno.

none of them will be easy, probably better off trading up

not an easy or cheap or smart thing to do to a car that is 4 yrs old. It would be much more cost effective to sell your car, and buy one with the engine you want in it. Unless you have lots of money to burn, and want to put a V-6 or V-8 in it.....

Anything is possible, with enough money.

Why not spend 4-5k, and get a 1.8T swap.

Why not spend $69,500 and get a Cobra engine?

for the money and time you try doing this you could just trade in and get a new focus
