yes I am going to be doing it. I just have to wait for some stuff to come in the mail for it. I already have a wet zex system. All the stuff that has been done it my car I've done. I just put lowering springs, struts, and shocks on. do you have any planes to get anything done to your car?

Im still under warranty so not to much. Im going to get a AEM intake. i want to get a tune for it. After the warranty is up i would like to get a supercharger for it. Thats about it for now.. But the outside i want to get new hwadlights and taillights. I have the clear corners but its snowing every weekend so i cant do much. I live in a apartment so no gerage to do anything.

that's cool. May I ask why the supercharger? you know you can get more out of a turbo. I am going with nos because it does the same thing and I wont loose gas milage all the time. Only when I turn it on. How much HP are you looking at adding with the supercharger?

No reason I need to look into both more. But it will be a long time before i get somthing like that.. And HP i heard it will boost it to about 220

I have a foucs builders book and they have both supercharged and turbo. the turbo set up has a lot more power. I have heard that turbos make more power, you just have to get the right kind so you don't have much lage.

I work close to the area that you seen that car in. come to think about it I haven't even seen you in that area. I have seen a focus in Aurora that has a ground effects and small wheels off of Parker Road. you will like the CAI. that's the first thing that I did to my car. My wife isn't that happy with me right now. I have down to much to my car to fast.

Hey you work for iron Mountain? Man I had an interview with them and got lost on the way to the interview....woulda been a cool job...goin to offices and collecting doucuments to be destroyed...at least I think thats what they do.

JOE03ZX3 I work for Micros of Colorado off of Parker and Jewell. So do you drive your car to work every day? After you do so much the MPG starts to go down. Your lucky that your g/f thinks that it is cool. Some woman arent into it. So have we figured out where we are going to meet up at?

I work in the Dairy at King Soopers...good pay great benifits...cant go wrong...there will always be a demand for food :) MPG will only go down if you do TONS of Mods..and are always a lead foot....from what Ive been told you can mod it quiet well without much of a MPG effect at all...BTW theres a Focus Meet and Greet in Colorado Springs Sunday the 25th...we should all 3 cruise down there together....:)

BTW im gettin 28 MPG City with my ATX ....hope that will improve slightly with the CAI

you have that one right. it went up for a while when I was doing mods to my car and then it went down. when I did the CAI it went up. With the Cat back it went up. somewhere about the header and tune it went down 2 MPG. at one point I was at 34 miles city. how I am back to 29mpg. I think that since I redid the timing again I maybe back up I don't know. I just put my nos in so I have been a lead foot :)

If I may ask what is g2g? you said that is had a small dent in it. The only problem I could see with that is that I don't think that CF hoods can be fixed very easy. I would have to see it the price is right if it isn't that bad.

My box was already out the person that had it last took it out... I just needed a alan wrench for the sensor. I will still go if its not to bad out.

JOE03ZX3 what kind of CAI did you get? mines is low to the ground to. I got a cold air bypass. you will need to watch so you don't take in water if you don't get one.

I got a Velocity one...its not that low to the ground..its right behind the front bumper...so has long as I dont drive threw any rivers or water that goes above my bumper I will be fine....im gonna put a plastic pag over the filter during extreme weather just to play it safe. Also does someone thats gonna be in the springs for the G2g PM or send me their number so incase Iget lost..never been to the springs alone.

Hey guys, I'm a little late to join in on the conversation but here's a little bit about myself. I'm 21 I love playing all sports, still into video games, and spend way too much money on my car. I'm up for some G2G's if anything is in the works.

Yeah, it's hard sometimes. Well... If anyone's up for it, Bandimere is opening for Test and Tunes starting Wednesday, March 2nd. Then every Wednesday after that for a while. Gates open at 4pm and go til 8:45. I will definately be there to try my new setup and it's a blast going fast, legally, lol. Everybody can hang out and talk in-between runs. Anyone interested?

I have the 15lb pulley sitting at my house ready to go, I am just waiting for Tom to send me a new tune. He says he'll send it Monday or Tuesday. I have a little competition going with Blkthunder for Bandimere as soon as he gets his car fixed, lol. I'm at work right now, but I'll load some pics later when I get home.

Here's a pic that was taken a while ago. Since then I installed the Procharger, added a lip to the front bumper, and had the sides of the hood color matched Sonic Blue.

^^^I did forget to mention that we had just about identical setups when we were talking about going to Bandimere, lol. I am kind of cheating a little bit with more boost and spraying the intercooler with Cryo2, lol. I am down for any G2G's, the only thing is... if it's on the weekend let me know a few weeks in advance so I can get the day off work. Also, if anyone comes up to Black Hawk, I work at the Riv and I'm a Casino Host there.

He charges $150 for a tune and he can make a tune based on what mods you have on your car. If you don't have an X-Cal 2 yet, depending on who you buy it from, it comes with a few tunes to take advantage of N/A cars with bolt ons. If you plan on getting FI, then it would be worth it to pay him for a tune until you can get it dyno tuned.

Nope, sorry. I thought about going to NOPI but I was too busy.

Check out the link, it's free to watch $40.00 to race but you got to register by Wednesday night. I think the first class's go about 9:00 am.

there was a car there just like yours. Nopi was fun, I am just disappionted that there was only one focus there.

I will look at the site again. last night when I looked I didn't see any times for people to watch. I only seen times for racers to show up.

Yeah I did the last of the winter series race at Coors Field, parking lot B.
Spectators just show up and watch there are no grand stands or seats you just hang out, stay out of the way and watch people thrash the course or their cars. You'll see everything from daily drivers to full race cars to go karts.

Well Crap, the Autocross event on sunday was cancelled due to safety concerns. MasterDrive uses the same area and they are going to be there at the same time. Too many new drivers in the area.

They are 15" rims. So I can go with the ones on the car, P195/60's.

Yep, never been big on extra large rims. Nothing wrong with them, just not my style.

From your avatar, it looks like your windows are tinted. What percentage of tint do you have?

not sure. all I know is that they have 3 percentages. the 1st one is legal and not worth bying it lis like nothing. The 2nd one is the one that I have it really looks great. The 3rd one is lemo and to dark to drive at night. I have had lemo before and would never get it again.

CO law is no less than 27%, unless you don't tint the front windows. If you don't tint the front windows( what fun/good is that?), you can go downto 5% on the backs and rear.

I'm thinking of going 25% on the front windows, and 20% on the backs and rear windows. I should be able to get away with that.

nock on wood. i haven't been bugged with my windows. I have had windows that are 27% and I think that it is a wast of money your not getting much for your money. some laws I understand this one I don't.
