he was okay, his arm was just bleeding, the old dude got a ticket for careless driving and it is his fault, allstate is just dragging their feet as usual...a claims adjuster won't even be out here till sometime next week and this happened wednesday! so he's riding his bike/walking for the next few days and then once the check comes through we're gonna fix it ourselves, if he gets the money before i have to leave

So what motor does it have? I saw coolant leaking in the first few pics and was worried about the radiator. I'm about to take my flex fan off and put on an electric for that same reason. That sucks. I guarantee that they try to total it out just because of how old the truck is. Good luck and thanks for the pictures. I'll have to put some more of my S10 up to cheer you and him up.

and yes that fluidyne radiator is trashed...

at least he can eat some free arbys sandwiches.

Heres an old picture. I have since cleaned up the wires, put a bigger air cleaner on, and added a brake booster....never had manual brakes on anything before. It felt like there was a brick lodged up the pedal when you tried to use it.

that is niice...the insurance adjuster came out today and decided it is a $2500 repair on an $1800 car (according to the book) so it was technically totalled, but he decided that with all the work done to it, it is worth much more so he's pushing it further to the discrepancy dept where we're gonna figure that out...probably the most helpful adjuster i've ever met and the MOST helpful Allstate has EVER been...so we'll know probably tuesday what we're doing

ok so we haven't gotten paid yet but its working out...my bro went and bought a junk 4cyl 5spd S10 from a buddy for $500 that had all the parts we need on it more or less...so we drove this truck with no taillights or mirrors and an expired tag (no insurance either mind you) at 11pm on a friday night...had to go like 50 blocks...had one serious police scare not even one block from the kid's house but we were cool the rest of the way home haha

oh but wait....WE FIXED IT!!! the camera is in my car but we got the truck back together and he drove it yesterday...we epoxied the fluidyne and it works now!
