Ford Australia builds some awesome cars. I like the Pursuit GT myself.

There are rumors going around that Ford might bring it over here. But I highly doubt we will get all the nice features.

The XR6-T is turbocharged and intercooled inline six cylinder engine that was engineered in Australia

The XR8 comes with Ford's familiar 5.4 liter V8 engine

God DAMN....that car is so awesome, there's 2 around farmington (farmington rd and 12mile), the sedan and the truck, the sedan is blue and the truck is silver/grey. There's also someone there with a Focus RS, it's a pretty happenin' parking lot lemme tell ya that...

I worked in Australia for almost three years back in 98-00. I would always rent a Falcon, and they are a blast to drive. Aussies still love RWD and V8s. I got to drive them on twisty mountain roads (on the left hand side of the road!). It was very very well behaved automobile.

I have posted about these cars many times. They are beautiful cars with nice powerful powertrain setups.

If they brought them here to the states I would have to get one.

Why does the United States, Ford's home country, get either the wimped-out version of a car, or not get it at all? Europe/Australia gets the Focus RS and a zillion other good cars over the years, like the Falcon this thread is about, and we get the Taurus and the Tempo and whatnot.

If they did bring that car here, I probably couldn't afford it, but I'd definitely try to talk my parents into buying one so I could borrow it! [:D]
