Sorry to say, but the SVT was totaled by the insurance company today. $9,700 in damage.
Thanks to everyone that contributes to this forum. It helped a lot over the last year and a half.

My son was driving down 294 and swerved to miss another car. He over corrected and hit the brakes at the same time. Brought the rear around...the car went back and forth a couple of times, missed a few more cars and nailed the barrier wall.
He's alright...The car did its job and held together pretty well. The front airbag did not deploy but the side airbag did. He hit the wall with the front left corner, so it was more of a side impact against the front end.
I don't think I'll get another car before Spring. I have 5 others to choose from, so I still have more cars than drivers.

Sounds like a typical method of crashing these cars. Oversteer pwns. I should know.

It is nice...until the insurance bill shows up. We have three drivers and one of the cars is an 88 Mustang that I'm using just for track days.
I will be getting rid of another car this month. I have a 70 Cutlass convertible going up for sale this weekend.

Not the Olds!! Those are such cool cars. I used to have a '68 with a 350 rocket, it was a lot of fun. And yours is 'vert too, that easily doubles the 'cool' quotient!! [thumb]
