: Full boost vs Peak Torque

I have a question..

how does full boost relate to peak torque?

I was looking at some of my older dyno sheets and I noticed my peak TQ was right around 4500rpm and if I remember right that was about the same place I was getting full boost.

Here lately after some tune adjustments and doing a nice wrap job on the down pipe and most of the ORP I am now achieving full boost (19psi) at 35-3600rpm. Would hitting full boost that much sooner change where I get my peak TQ levels at?

The peak TQ will be at the highest point of boost meaning right where the waste gate starts bypassing will in most cases be your best TQ

Is that what your asking
