I had a new fuel filter put on at 30,000, and the oil change/oil filter.

Do you not have the maintenance Schedule in your Glove Compartment?

I will post that info if you want But I cannot believe it is any different than what has already been posted.

well they probably don't do the plugs and wires but if you want to do that every 30K then I would suggest copper plugs because you are throwing away your money with Platinum or iridium because those metals are designed for Longevity not necessarily max Power where as Copper is a better conductor of electricity than the others and they are atleast 2 bux cheaper than platinum and much cheaper than iridium.

I am not so up to date on the iridium technology but a lot of racing applications just use plain old copper plugs.

Just FYI Bosch has a Platinum/iridium Plug coming out but I don't know much of the details on it yet though. I am going to ask the plug guy for some info.

copper is a much better conductor, only "downside" I guess is it wont last as long as platinum or ridium.

I ran 1 step colder plugs in my MR2 Turbo and changed them every 6000 miles. didnt mind though because it was only $40 online for a box of 20 NGKs.

02SVTsilverstreak, you're using 5w20? I thought our cars required 5w30? at least thats what I read in the SVT suppliment pamphlet that came with my car, just wondering if that was a typo or if you really use 5w20.
Sorry to change subject stokedsvt, but I want you to use the right oil so I guess I didn't really change topic....

Plugs: motorcraft one step colder
Tires: I made it to 30 k but the conti-sports are shot, going to get conti-extremes for the weather.
Tranny: Royal Purple syncromax
Coolant: Cheap insurance.
Air filter:
Cabin air filter.
Fuel filter
The usual inspections
Oil & filter

That's all I can come up with and that's what I plan to do at 30K

I'm impressed if you can make 1 set of tires last 30k... cause I've worn out a set of conti etreame contacts in about 17,000 miles... granted I kicked the crap out of them... but still, I have the origonal conti's that are going back on this summer, but total mileage on them won't be much more than 20,000 miles
