It's going to cost around $4200, and three weeks, of which I pay the $500 deductable. In the meantime, I get to drive a rental car: a brand new Grand Prix. I agree on the silver focus' having bad luck. [:)~] My bumper was cracked after a hit'n'run almost a year ago. therealjon 10-16-2006, 11:01 AM Oh god, this rental is the worst thing ever. The car is HUGE but the interior space doesn't seem any better than my Focus. It's all in the trunk, which is very large. The auto takes 30 seconds to downshift after stepping on the throttle, and 90% of the braking power is in the last 10% of the pedal. The steering is horrible loose. The ride is nice and the seats aren't bad, but getting in and out is a pain. The windshield needs to be 3 inches higher. I miss my SVT. [:(] | |
