Hey its emnodrap again, sorry that I havent answered any pm's. Here is the HOW2 to let your intake run on the short runners all the time. I guarantee you will see an increase in GASMILEAGE. Assuming you dont drive like a maniac as some of us are prone 2do. I am going to dyno test this within the next 3mos so you all can see what the powerband actually looks like under these conditions. And also as I said in the first thread, The torque gain is very real from 3500rpm all the way to redline. Here it goes: First the car must be off, if the engine is running this will not work. Locate the switch that switches the runners from long to short. It is underneath the throttle-body, and you will see what looks like a brake cable from a bicycle connected to the top of the switch with a small plastic clip at the end. Once you have located the switch and cable you are half way there. Next on the bottom of the switch, opposite where the little plastic connector is is a small triangular nub or protrusion. [?|] This is the hard part, the first time is the hardest but after this its a breeze. You will have to push on the nub on the bottom with the thumb and forefinger of your right hand. Hold it there with just your forefinger. You will know notice that the switch that was on the top is now close to the motor of the car. Quickly you must grasp the plastic connector and push it down towards the firewall on the car. You will hear a click when you have done it correctly! The switch should go back to the Shortrunners, and the cable should just dangle, its ok there trust me. Grab the runner switch and notice that you can open and close it at will. The reason that this is soo hard is because the runner switch is spring-loaded. It is great because they all ways want to be in the SHORT POSISTION. Post to this thread after you do IT! let em know its badazz.
