Not necessarily. The location of the bolts and mounting points for any aftermarket sway bar should match up to the OE unless fabrication is required. If the H&R sway bar were to have a longer moment arm, all it would simply do is readjust where the bar is located under the car by possibly a few centimeters. Basically, if you can imagine the OE bar is fixed but has some space around it, then the moment arm of the aftermarket sway bar can be lengthened or shortened as it has room to be moved forward and back in the empty space.
