The proper turn?

Im looking into autocross next year and Im interested in your comments how how to make a conistant clean turn. You can give all you examples and im sure there are bunch of different ways. This is my first standard car and ive only driven it a few months now. Im also just wondering a good technique on some twisty roads and what not. Im more interested in the shifting, clutch, wheel turn, and speed. I know there are diferent ways of downshifting like heal-toe and Im not looking for a slide because im not a rally driver with a proper e-brake. However fun in the winter, but thats still tricky now that I have to shift im so use to my dodge stratus auto. ANy tips appreciated.
