I had an unusual experience this morning that never happened before. I opened the passenger door to put a package on the front seat. As soon as I opened the door an extremely loud vibration/thumping sound, which was not the radio, starting coming out of all of the speakers including the sub-woofer in the back. The sound continued when I closed the door. It did not stop until I entered the car through the driver side door and started the car. As soon as it started the sound stopped and the radio came on tuned to the station that was on the last time I drove the car.
I have had the car for 1 1/2 years and nothing like this has ever happened before. Anyone have any ideas as to what could have caused this.
It has happened to me as well, only once. Sacred the crap out of me.
I have read about it in another post but I do not recall anyone saying they found a cause or solution.

I have only had this issue happen the one time two weeks ago. I printed the TSB that SiverPony provided and was going to take it to the dealer the next time I need an oil change.
I can't get to the document I need to print out and bring to the dealer related to the speakers going bonkers problem. Is there another link that I can try?
