I had minor rough idle issues with the coil boots on my car. These just pull off. I'd pull them off and inspect the spring and metal core.
I'd also recommend removing the MAF and cleaning it with MAF cleaner.
This is just guess work- without a code, I can't tell you much else. Your vacuum leak might still exist, but it might be under the intake manifold where the PCV is. That's just a guess- again.
