Ford's placement of the thermostat is a scratched knuckle event but its replacement from Injected is needed if you live near heat. My coolant temps went from a range of 205-221 to a fantastic badassness of 180-188. On the initial run ambient temps were 95+. The fan is running to achieve the coolant temps, but its amazing how in traffic the car behaves so much better even when in the thick of it.
