Yes, you are correct. Although I do not think the weight would be that great, from what I was seeing, 16 gauge aluminum is about 0.75LB/sq. ft. and you would probably end up using 15-20 sq. ft. to cover everything... although I do agree that it is probably not worth the time and effort unless it made a large difference in MPG, and even than, the debris thing is definitely a factor.

I do still think it would be cool to try if time / money permitted though.

But back on topic, Chaos, any ETA on skid plates / diffusers?
