I was following you until you got to the 1 percent thing. I'm a bit slow so maybe you can elaborate on that for my benefit............
Insofar as this not being a good (or bad) transmission I can't say one way or another but neither can Ford because it's either a quality issue with the supplier or poorly executed software. However this forum as well as the internet is filled with stories of problems people are having. While some may be unfounded, many are not. One thing I do know is that the problems amount to more than 1 percent and Ford doesn't know how to, or won't, remedy the problem...........
