and thanks for the reply back. pricing on the turbo is about the same whether i go with the borg or bulls. i like the specs of the bulls best though. i understand how the bullseye could tick off the borg warner crowd because they are using borg parts in their own housings and then putting their name on the product but i dont get how that makes them a crap turbo. how is a different housing made from the same material and quality engineering going to make it bad? just saying because i am leaning really hard toward the bulls still and i would need some pretty solid evidence to sway me away at this point. either way im going with an extended tip. im just completely sold on those. no batmowheel though. waaay over priced. pretty, but over priced.
Its not in the housings thats all the same casting. its in the manufacturing, IDK about the standard bulls 256 but in the bulls performance line up they lighten the shafts and the wheels to get more performance which sacrifices the longevity. just like precision pro mod turbos turns down the main shaft to reduce as much rotating mass as possible. but also result in the turbine wheel shooting out the exhaust housing and tearing everything up. its all in preference thats all, with your goals you prob wont have any problems with either cause you wont be turning it hard.
