I have to say thanks a grip for the write up. One thing I've seen no one mention are the 2 small clip guide that are on the cmc body. Took me nearly two hours of screwing around trying to line up the body with the brake pedal bracket because it just wouldn't slide in. I ended up studying the old one carefully and noticed a very small curve carved into the tiny guides that allowed it to slide over the metal bracket.I busted out my woman's nail file and ground the new guides down in the same way and it fit perfectly. What a pita! How come no one else had this problem? I know a picture would help describe it but I wasn't about to take it back out. Total job time was about 6 hours. If I did it again it would take me less than an hour.
The beatings will continue until Morale improves.....
