I removed the silencer, drove it home from work, cut out the lunchbox and stuck a turn down on it, installed a set of Copper Autolite 104's.
Silencer - As Stic-O stated, around 2,500 - 3,500 rpm you really hear it come to life. She has a nice little roar that is only audible if you want it to be.
Lunchbox - Removing the lunchbox made the exhaust a little throatier @ idle and throughout the rpm range but nothing overwhelming by any means. I drive 140 miles round trip to work 6 days a week so I didn't want anything too loud. I like the changes!
Plugs - I dunno if it actually made a difference but it sure seems like it has more pull throughout the rpm range but I feel like I noticed more down low and in the mid ranges.
Verdict - For $25.00 and about a half an hours worth of work (I have a saws all and a nice area to work in with easy access to tools) it was well worth the effort.
First pics I've posted of this car.
