The, "old definition of a synthetic", millions feel is the correct definition. German motorists don't like being deceived, or played for fools and in Germany it's illegal for any Group III oil to be termed a synthetic oil. At least the Germans have it right!
Just took the plunge, I just got my 'Preferred Customer' ID from Amsoil today (ordered Sat.). I just now ordered the By-Pass kit and all needed components including the oil (I used Unleashed Beasts, list of parts and added the sampling pump). Grand total including taxes and shipping $420.00
I have a list w/prices if anyone wants to see it.
