Well, that is the world of owing a 10 year old car.
And the SVT is a baby once it starts to have issues.
And things go in domino effects when issues arise.
When my stock motor mount went out, needed all 3 of the bushings, well didn't really need, but if one went out ... the other's would follow soon. Just best to replace all.
When my alternator went out, I had to change that, the starter, the battery and the pigtail cables.
When my T-Belt busted the first time ... I had to get new pulleys, belts, O2 Sensors, fuel pump and fuel filter.
When my T-Belt busted the second time ... new head, so, new bushings, new gaskets, new bolts, new cams and new valves.
Yes the focus in general is actual like that ... so, don't be discouraged. But once you get everything back up and running with these small maintenance pieces ... you will be golden for sometime. Just take care of her, some off and on checks on the maintenance and she will take care of you for a long time.
