Is the MPG going to go up after the engine brakes in? I'm guessing maybe 1 to 2 MPG.
Yes, your mileage will improve after your car is broken in. It will also improve in the warmer months. My driving profile is like yours and I track my mileage via actual fillups vs the hype guage that overestimates mine by 2 mpg on average.

I have an 09 SES that is averaging 32.21 over the last 99k miles.
My lowest was 25.92 after a winter storm and hours long commute.
My highest has been 36.02 in the summer.

I drive a bit faster than you with speeds of 55-60 for the first 25 miles, 70-75 for the next 20 and 45 for the last 5. I don't hypermile, and could probably get a bit better mileage if I slowed down. Another factor in my mileage and possibly yours is that I live in a state that mandates a 10% ethanol blend in all regular unleaded gas. My older Escorts and Tracers lost 2-3 mpg when the switch happened. I don't know how much the Focus loses, because the only E0 gas is premium and that's not comparing apples to apples.

In looking back through my mileage history, I can see that I had many fillups in the first few months under 29, but this winter I have only had 2 fillups under that. Both probably because of the cold weather and warming up the car before leaving.

So after that wall of text, you should probably see much improved mileage soon.
