The Powertrain warranty states it covers ony electrical sensor problems up to 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. At that time, I only had my fFord Focus for 3 years, and the odometer stated 59,000 miles. I was told by the dealer that even though the part was within the Powertrain system, it would not be covered under my warranty. I also called Customer service that day, and they told me the same thing. I am in the process of taking this to the next level, so if any of you have experienced the same thing, please contact me @ 804-833-6397. Thank you.
Hi richs2009,

I can arrange for a follow-up call from your region's Customer Service Manager if you have questions about their decision. If you want to proceed, send me a PM with your current mileage and I'll get to work.
