When I bought my Se there were a set of old escort steel wheels on them with shot tires (belts broken and the lot) that looked like hell.

I bought a set of 4 steel wheels off a crashed Focus for $80 and a $15 set of plastic wheelcovers from BiMart.

They look sharp, and they don't require those low-sidewall-profile tires that are so close to the wheels that every time you hit a pothole the wheel pooches in. And they clean up nice in the car wash, I don't have to sit in a puddle of dirty water for an hour with a rag, cleaning them.

I'm not going around 90 degree corners at 80Mph so the increased sidewall flex is not an issue. But I do hit a lot of crummy roads with holes in them every day.
