First off, welcome to Focus Fanatics! As the others have said, the best way to get a bit more enjoyment out of your ride for relatively low cash would be an exhaust system. There will be other stuff coming (ecu tune, header) and those will be good to watch for. They may already make a header, but I'm not sure. For a great source of Focus parts, check out! They're probably the best vendor of aftermarket stuff out there.

And while it's true that no naturally aspirated focus will ever be a horsepower monster, but they can be a heck of a lot more to drive than stock!!
