I have steeda springs and the stock struts/shocks. Mine are absolutly shot. The car does have about 130K on it though. May be its was time. Unfortunately the springs have taken a beating and sit lower on the drivers side now. I'm thinking on going with the H&R race springs and Koni adjustables.
The 1.5" drop you're looking at will be ok for a while I think. That is if they are a progressive and a moderate spring rate. The steedas are progressive but are stiff for a progressive spring. stiff springs are hard on the stock struts/shocks.
03 SVT Focus, Comp Orange, EAP, Eibach sway bars, H&R Race Springs, Koni Sports, steeda shifter, Massive camber arms, toe links, engine mount bushings, sway bar end links.
