The Canadians across the lake (Ontario) still race those Lightnings more than folks on our side (Toronto Clubs I've seen 'em at in particular).

The poster of common sailboats i got as a kid listed the Lightning as "fast & Wet, a Real Racing Machine" - thought you'd get a chuckle from that, I still remember it without looking at it to remind me....

My "ride" on the lake is a Columbia 26 these days, bit of a different category - not "racy" like the J22 I once played with!

Watched your referenced video, now I have to make time to see more of them! Good work!
