Ok here is a description. Assuming your wiper arms and cowls is disassembled.

1. Turn on ignition and pull the wiper handle down one time (one swipe) and let the motor run one cycle to stop at the park position. Turn off ignition.
2. Loosen the 3 screws that is holding the whole wiper assembly. Turn the assembly around so you can see the motor crank arm. You dont have to take it out of the car just turn it around.
3. If you have a camera take a picture of the position of the crank arm. If you don't have a camera just try to describe for me how the arm is positioned.

If you start doing this and have questions i will help you underway.
