I understand they will be eventually found out if they fix things that aren't broken, but why else wouldn't they invest the time in figuring out why a customer's car is misbehaving?
I honestly don't know - laziness?
EDIT: It's not like the transmission technician is spending all of his time selling cars on the floor and gets commission and it pays better than fixing cars. He's paid to fix cars... I just don't get it.
