So i just plugged it in and held it, and before I tried it all i misted the mirror and put it in my freezer lol. But as said prior the puddle light didn't work, I'm gonna ask the diag tech at work tomorrow if he can plug up to my car and see if that is a setting that he can turn on.

Were you able to check the BCM? Does it have parameters for the mirrors?
