Different Kind of Problem

I have been having some weird problems with the SVT lately, things that seemed like a possible electrical short of sorts. I had started this thread Possible electrical short? but did not really get much insight to the issue. I recently found a retired Ford tech that was willing to give me the insight that might help the situation. He noted that the GEM module could be faulty or in need of replacement.

Is anyone here familiar with the GEM Module, its possible location, how to fix it? Any Ideas?
