Haha indeed they are, they usually go with 14s and 15s though. I owned mk2 jetta before I had the focus.
Definitely have to worry about 15" ground clearance, my coils are 1 inch away from maxing out. Hard to fill the gap at same time have good enough ground clearance lol.
When I mounted the rims, I knew that I had to run stretched tires without serious work on fenders. I would say it is perfect stretch for the offset, otherwise I would have ran meaty low profile tires. There are no 175 or 185 with 40 or 45 profile.
Btw, I would like to know what roads around houston are really bad.
