Hype from CAI companies? I dont think anyone with half a brain buys an exhaust or CAI based on hype. Its usually based on a dyno sheet or based on the knowledge that factory exhaust and intakes on cars not marketed for performance are almost always designed for low noise rather than maximum flow.

Is this the 140hp aggressive factory performance tuned DOHC 2litre SER ? The same car marketed to people looking for compact sports car. With more aggressive factory exhaust? And you were somehow surprised that you only got 25 more HP out of it? That car is good for its lightness not its power output.

The Focus is tuned for MPG and still has 160chp. Not aggressively tuned out of the box. After eliminating some flow restrictions tuning will do alot more than it would for something with an already aggressive factory tune.
