It is fairly simple to make one as long as you use a piece of metal that is flat and smooth, and is thick enough to not warp. This one has been on there for more than a year with no issues. The original EGR bolts are too long, so I spaced them out with washers temporarily. My temporary became permanent as I forgot all about it. lol.
So Daryl, What'd you do w/ the coolant line going to the egr? And I have a tune w/ the egr turned off, So if I disconnect the plug is there going to be a code? I've noticed the inside of the intake manifold is a lot lot cleaner w/ the egr turned off & no more cleaning the TB w/ tb cleaner it free up the tb stickyness. I pulled the TB off to look down the I/M last month & super clean & no sticky TB either.
