I don't think that they'll necessarily give you visual symptoms as it doesn't take much oil to affect the clutches and there is also a seal on the outside of the bell housing. So there could be a oil just sitting in the bell housing and not leaking, like the OP states in this thread:

Oh I see. Do you think it's possible to do checkpoints by yourself, of course I have all necessary tools. Check previous posts. My guess they will not do anything to mine anymore since they allready ate clutch. They will just drag thru the mud cause ford will not pay. That's my guess. So I I think should do on my own. I was reading last night about a leak, so I might have it. But don't know how to trace it. Any inputs.
