As far as a manufacture installing one on production vehicles, there was a Mercedes that had one from the factory, and the only problem it had was that it used a oil cooler also and the average person was never able to get the temp up to the right temp.

So on my tune just have the rev limiter set to 7,400 and go with the stock pump.
Is there aftermarket pick ups or oil pan combination that would decrease the likely hood of oil starvation to the pump during sustained hard lateral forces?
Or is the current design of the pick up, pan and oil capacity sufficient that the only way I will starve the oil pump (assuming proper oil levels) is when I roll the car?
Correct set limiter to 7400 , I have taken my SVT to many tracks making over 320HP on the all stock engine with no issues ever , 152.2 MPH on the front stretch at VIR on GPS
Unless your doing a full blown race car where you can hook up hard where you can keep high speed through the corners dont worry about it
